1. Sign in to your Google Maps account.

2. On the left side of the main page, click “Your Account.”

3. Under “Website & App Activity,” select “Add a Site or App.”

4. Type in the name of your website or app, and click “Create.”

5. On the next page, under “Maps Services,” click “Create a New Maps Service.”

6. Under “Name” (the name that will appear in Google search results), type in a description of your map service, and click “Create.”

7. You’ll now be directed to the settings page for your new map service. Underneath “Access & Permissions,” make sure that only “Authorized Users” have access to your map service’s APIs and settings (see below for more information).
